Recipe for Delicious Beef Fried Rice

Beef Fried Rice

Ingredients:

  • 250g beef, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups cooked rice, cooled
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and swirl to coat the surface.
  2. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the thinly sliced beef and stir-fry until it’s no longer pink. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
  4. In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them until they are just cooked. Remove the scrambled eggs and set them aside.
  5. Add the mixed vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for a few minutes until they start to soften.
  6. Push the vegetables to the side of the wok and add the cooked rice. Break up any clumps with a spatula and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  7. Return the cooked beef and scrambled eggs to the wok. Mix everything together.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Pour this sauce over the rice and stir to combine.
  9. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
  10. Continue to stir-fry for a couple of minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  11. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Beef Fried Rice!
